Can't Breathe

Story time.

So, here's the thing. I love my gym. LOVE. We belong to our local YMCA, and it's exactly what I pictured a YMCA would be in my head. And I mean that in the good and bad way. It's small and everyone knows everyone. It has a real community feel and I LOVE that. The childcare workers know and love B and that is so, so important. It's also the crappiest, smallest gym I've ever belonged to. And, again, I love my gym. It's just your quintessential YMCA-- it's dated and the options are limited. There are FOUR treadmills. Total. Maybe 6 ellipticals. No indoor pool. No track.

Why does any of this matter? I've been gym-ing 5ish days a week pretty consistently. Walking on an incline on the treadmill, ellipticalling, and rowing.

However.

Lately, if I go at 9am there's a man there. Ok, there are several men there. However, there is ONE man there that I just can't even handle. He smells and I mean REAKS of smoke. He pours sweat and the more he sweats the more it smells. I have literally had to move machines because it's literally hard to breathe next to him. It just smells so bad.

I try HARD to support all gym go-ers. GO YOU! YOU'RE WORKING OUT! THAT'S AWESOME!! GO YOU!! But, guys. I just can't. And lately, because the gym is small, I can't even move machines because it's too crowded and there are no other options.

So, lately I've been working out in a cloud of smoke and trying my very hardest not to breathe while working out. So, that's been fun.

In other news, B's got allergies or a little cold. Poor Peanut Butter. But, don't worry... that doesn't stop her from demolishing some ice cream. Girl is completely obsessed.

Gym Lately

We have a dangerous situation going on over here, guys.

See- I've been going to the gym. Like, almost every week day. PS- Isn't it crazy how weekend used to be my big guaranteed workout time and now its weekdays? Life, man. Life. Annnnyway-- I've been going to the gym. And, I sorta like LOVE it.

We knew this would happen. Or at least I knew this would happen and I think if you asked the Hubs he'd say he knew it was gonna happen too.

Every morning while drinking my coffee while Bailey plays with whatever toy is THE toy of the moment,
or ALL the toys

I check out that days group class schedule.

Why yes, I did print the group class schedule and then highlight the ones that would work with Bailey's nap schedule. I mean, obviously.

So far, I've tried a handful of classes:
-Spinning:
Duh-- and, I have to say I'm a bit disappointed at least in the one I've gone to... music is too soft and the instructor is BORING. I'm gonna try a different session.

-Weight Training: Love it. Great sweat session and good to do some strength. I'll admit I've been neglecting Jillian since joining the gym and this makes me feel a little less guilty.

-Step and Sculpt: Oh, I had high hopes for this one. And, I'll say it was both good-- actually left me pretty sore the next day (though I imagine that was due to using too heavy of weights than the actual class, but still)-- and very, very bad-- I was the only person under 60 in the room and it was a special one night only karaoke sing along class. Seriously. That happened. Of course that would happen.

I'm hoping to try a Pilates Matwork class and maybe a Boot Camp class too.

Besides classes, I've also been treadmilling it up a lot. And, the elliptical has seen a little action too. Yep. Still as boring as ever.

I've hit the indoor track once so far and will definitely be back on that.

Oh! And a new love-- the rower. Ok, maybe LOVE isn't the right word. That thing is HARD! And kinda boring. But, it's infinitely more interesting than the elliptical and gives my legs a workout in a different kinda way and an arm workout, all with some quality panting-cardio. Love.

So, yes. I have been gym-ing. A lot. And I couldn't be happier. Oh, except with Bailey cries when I drop her off. BREAKS MY HEART. But, that's part of why I'm going. I realllllly want her to be OK with being with other people. Some days, she's 100% fine when I drop her. Others, screaming crying. Ugh. Either way, they tell me she's 100% fine within 2 minutes of me leaving. Rascal. Good thing she's so stinkin' cute.

But, anyway-- this is a danger situation. The while loving it thing. See, this gym membership is only TEMPORARY. Maybe. :)

Day In the Life: Working Out-of-the-House Mom

I've been a "working out-of-the-house mom" for a whopping week now. Wowza. Has it been a week already? And, at the same time- it's ONLY been a week? Don't you love when you feel both those things at the same time?

Anyway- it's been a week. A week of mistakes and forgets and triumphs and struggles and tears and smiles and laughter and everything in between. Biggest lesson I learned my first day back? LIFE GOES ON. Nothing stops when you're not at work. Work still happens. Life still happens. And, at the same time, when you go back to work, life doesn't stop. It might hurt like hell to leave your baby at daycare or wherever, but it is what it is. Life will continue to move on. You either move with it or you... well, I suppose you just do. Simple as that.

So, I've been moving with life. It's been much harder than I expected in some ways and a little easier than I expected in others. I figured before we get to all the lessons I've learned and words of wisdom I should never try to give this early in the game, let's just look at a day in the life instead. A not-perfect day in the life, too. So, here's what my Thursday, February 20th looked like...

2-2:20am: I hear Bailey start squirming over the monitor and think to myself (after several curse words) "HOOOOOOOOOOW IS SHE UP AGAIN SO SOON?!?!?!?". We just nursed at 11:30pm. No way is she hungry again. So, I go in and pop the paci in her mouth and hope that does it. I lay back down and fall immediately back asleep.

2:20-3:30am: Nope. Didn't do it. She's back up. ARRRRRRRRGH!!!!!!! I know she's not hungry yet and I know if I feed her this early, she'll be back up all night. It's her thing. She's squirmed out of her swaddle and just gotten herself worked up. I pull her out of the crib and lay on the floor with her on my chest. She falls immediately back asleep. I doze in and out on the very uncomfortably hard floor. Fun times.

3:30-4am: She's back up and I know she's really hungry now. We nurse. As much as I hate getting up in the middle of the night, I really and truly love our MOTN nursing sessions. It's so quiet and peaceful and it's feels like she and I are the only people in the world. It's the most bonded and connected I feel to her. While I am counting down the moments til she starts sleeping through the night, a BIG part of me will miss these moments.

4-5:45amam: Put her back in her crib. Girl is OUT like a light. I crawl back into my bed after shoving Sadie out of the way. The Hubs and I caved and let her sleep with us now. Girl thinks she owns our bed and 100% takes over my side when I get up to nurse. She's lucky she's so cute.
Girl thinks she owns our bed.

5:45-6:20am: My alarm goes off. I curse in my head. A lot. If you're counting, I slept-slept from 9pm-11:30pm, 12am-2am, and 4-5:45am. That's not a lot of sleep. Add in that it's broken up sleep and there's not enough coffee in the world to make me feel like I'm 100% awake. Ugh. It's gonna be a long day. Anyway, I get up and head downstairs to get ready for work. Well, first I make a BIG cup of coffee. Then I get ready and feed Sadie.

6:20-7am: The Hubs just got up and took Sadie out then he wakes Bailey up at 6:30am and changes her diaper. She is SO fun in the morning. All smiles. Love it. Anyway- after he changes her he kisses us both goodbye and we have our morning nursing session. And, I admit it- I play candycrush or read blogs on my phone while she's nursing. I also finish my cup of coffee and eat 2 pieces of cinnamon raisin toast while pumping.

7-7:15am: Put Bailey on playmat for some tummy time (she likes it now!) while I brush my teeth, make the bed and change into my clothes. After I get dressed I put my robe on (GREAT TIP!!) because I inevitably get puked on at least 1-2 more times before getting B in her carseat. Oh the glamorous life of a mom.
Yep. SO much baby spit up all over. I'd have to change clothes like 12 times if I didn't wear a robe over my work clothes in the morning. Best tip ever!

7:15-7:30am: Change Bailey's diaper and get her dressed for the day while talking to her all about what's happening for me at work that day or what we're doing that night. She just smiles and listens to my every word. LOVE. I then get her in her carseat, get all my crap together and get us out the door.

"Let's go, Mom! I don't wanna be late for school!!"

7:30-7:35am: Drive to daycare. Yes, it's only a 5 minute drive. LOVE.

7:35-7:40am: Daycare drop off. Tear. Hasn't gotten any easier.

7:40-7:45am: Drive to and arrive at work (SO nice that daycare is so close to my office).

7:50-8:10am: Pumping session #1

8:10-10am: Work, work, work. Usually I'd have breakfast at my desk sometime in here. Today, I had a couple classroom presentations and just got busy and forgot. Whoops.

10-10:15am: Pumping session #2 (while working at my desk)

10:15-12pm: Work, work, work. I also chug a bunch of water and have a fun-size pack of M&Ms and a fun-size snickers. Sorry I'm not even a little sorry.

12-12:15pm: Pumping session #3 (while working at my desk)

12:15-1pm: Take my "lunch hour" and head to gym for a workout. Today it was 30 minutes of elliptical the day before it was a 4-mile run. Trying to do a little something most days, even though I'd rather curl under my desk and take a nap. If it were warmer out I legit might go take a nap in my car.

1-1:15pm: Scarf down lunch at my desk. Today it was an egg salad sandwich, pretzels, a pear, cheese stick, a lactation cookie (recipe & review coming soon!) and a diet pepsi.

1:15-2pm: Work, work, work.

2-2:15pm: Pumping session #4 (while working at my desk)

2:15-4pm: Work, work, work. I also eat a SUPER healthy snack and chug a bunch of water.

4-4:15pm: Pumping session #5 (while working at my desk). I'm working REALLY hard my first two weeks to get LOTS of pumping sessions in while at work to help establish my pumping supply. It takes a LOT of time and is SO time consuming and freaking HARD to get sessions in. I was lucky this day and got 5 in (1 of which was before work). I'll be glad if most days I get 3, MAYBE 4, in.

4:15-5:30pm: Work, work, work. By this point in the day I feel completely brain dead and exhausted. Usually I leave the office at 5pm and go pick Bailey up at daycare and am home by 5:30pm, but Thursday's I have to work til 5:30pm, so the Hubs handles daycare pick up.

5:30-5:35pm: Drive home.

5:35-5:55pm: Nurse Bailey and chug some more water. Nursing makes me SO thirsty.

6-6:30pm: This day was pretty weird and not at all a normal day. Most days this would be when I would pump again, then dinner time, family time while we play with Bailey, and get-shit-together-for-tomorrow time, but tonight I went to a class at a local Women's Care Center (which was supposed to go to 7, but got out at 6:30! Woowoo!) while the Hubs and B got some daddy-daughter time.

6:30-7:15 Again, it was not a normal night. Normally we'd still be doing family time and getting Bailey ready for bed (bath, book, change into PJs, etc.), but tonight we went to Five Guys for burgers and fries. Sometimes it's just needed. Sorry I'm not sorry.

7:15-7:30: Shower. Yes, I am a fast shower-er.

7:30-8:15pm: Nurse Bailey and rock her for a bit. Yes, I nurse Bailey to sleep. Yes, I know you're "supposed" to put the baby down awake so they can put themselves to sleep. Whatever. I don't care even a little. Get over it.

8:15-8:40pm: Dry my har. Prep anything that still needs to get preped for the next day (pack lunches, prep bottles, pack daycare bag, etc.)

8:40-9:10pm: Pump... AGAIN. UUUUUUUUUGH. I've been having some supply issues, despite EVERYTHING I can do (full post coming soon) to prevent it. One of the things I'm trying to do now is pump before bed, even though it's a PAIN IN THE ASS. I hate the pump. HATE. The hubs and I watch a little TV while I'm pumping so at least I get a few minutes with him, even if it is while hooked up to a machine being milked like a cow.

9:10pm: BED. I PASS OUT pretty much the second my head hits the pillow.

We alternate every other night between a bottle and me nursing for the 11:30pm feeding. Last night was a nurse night so tonight's a bottle night, which means a bit extra sleep for me. THANK GOODNESS!!

Hello. I'm Back.

I'm back. I have nothing important to say today (ok, any day, really), but I'm feeling like I'm back to the world of the living a bit so hope to get back to posting. We'll see. I make no big promises. But, for today-- I'm back!

I even got up this morning and hit up the gym for a 5:30am Signature Strength class.

Trust me, I was as shocked as you that I actually got up and went. 5am just comes SO EARLY!! But, I did! The instructor tried to break my arms off by focusing almost solely on arms. WOWZA... hurt to lift my arms above my head after. Ouch!

After class I did a quick 2 miles on the TM. Then, while showering I realized we didn't do any legs. So, I decided to do some squats. While in the shower. That's TOTALLY normal, right?!?!? So, I did a set of 15 between each shower activity. Shampoo, 15 squats, conditioner, 15 squats, body wash, 15 squats, shave underarms, 15 squats, turn water off, 15 squats, etc. You get it. And, yes-- I get that I am WEIRD. Some how I got 7 sets of 15 in! Not too shabby for a last minute in-shower leg workout.

Anyway-- during my lunch hour I got over to the gym and did 30 minutes on the elliptical while watching Pretty Little Liars. Yes, I watch this show. No, I am not even a little shamed. It's just good, bad TV. Love it.

So, that's that. Haven't missed anything really. Business as usual-ish. Ok, maybe not really. But, we'll get into all that at a later time... :)

Internal Conversation

Here's how my internal conversation went this morning when my alarm went off at 5am.

"Ok, Meagan. You got this! Get up!"

"Meh... ok, but give me like 1 more minute just to lay here."

"Deal."

"Ok, maybe I don't got this. Do I HAVE to go to the gym?"

"Well, you COULD go to the 6pm Spinning instead."

"Oh! I could! Yeah. That sounds good."

"But, will you really go? Plus, then you won't be home til 7:30pm and you hate that."

"Yeah... maybe I just should just skip the gym today."

"But yesterday you skipped!"

"Yeaaaaah... I so don't care."

"Ok. Deal. No gym."

{5 minutes pass with me just laying there telling myself it was OK and I could go back to sleep, but really just continuing to argue with myself.}

"Ok... FINE. I'll get up and go. You suck."

"Agreed."

Funny Confession Ecard: My mother always said only crazy people talk to themselves. C'mon dolly...speak up, I can't hear you.

And, so I went. I 100% did NOT want to go. No part of me wanted to do strength. No part of me wanted to get up. No part of me wanted to sweat.

But, I did.

5:30am Strength Class and 20 minutes on the elliptical.

Feels good to be done. I'll even admit... I'm SEMI-glad I went.

Remind me about this tomorrow when my alarm goes off again at 5am.

5am, 10K, Wicked and Mother's Day

Guess who got up at 5am and made it to the gym both today and yesterday?!?!? THIS KID!!! Yup, that's right! 2 morning workouts in a row! Am I getting my groove back?? Maybe. We'll see. Too early to tell.

Anyway- Monday was 6 miles on the treadmill (while watching the season finale of Revenge... Nolan!! Whaaat?!?!? Noooo!! Love it!!!) and 15 minutes on the elliptical. Today was Signature Strength and then 15 minutes on the elliptical. Yep, not only am I back on the 5am train, but I even went to Signature Strength class today. WOAH. I'm on a roll.

So, we'll see how long this "roll" lasts. This week my work-gym is closed (we're officially in summer at the college I work for so every year the gym closes for 1 week in the summer to do maintenance and such), so I kinda have that "if you don't get up you won't get a workout in" mentality, which always helps me peel my ass outta bed.

BUT-- I did manage to get a workout in Monday during my lunch hour too! The girl from work that I'm helping with the Couch25K program and I went outside and did our intervals around campus! We covered 2.3ish miles in 35 minutes. She's rocking it! I'm so proud of her!!

Anyway-- so, yeah. Workouts have actually been happening. Solid workouts, even. Feels great! Hopefully I keep this up! We'll see... :)

In other news, this weekend was a whirlwind. Friday night the Hubs and I drove up to Grand Rapids, Michigan (about 2.25 hours away). We stayed with some friends, ate some pizza, and crashed early to prep for the Fifth Third River Bank RunSo, Saturday we were up WAAAAY too early to race! I was signed up for the 25K, but as everyone else in our group ended up doing the 10K, I decided to drop down and just run for fun.
My friend, K, and I celebrating our 10K! It was her very first 10K and she CRUSHED her goal and kicked some serious butt. SO proud of you, K!!!!

I ran easy and finished in 55:41 for about 8:58 min/miles. I was 1322 out of 4190.

The race was a lot of fun, though chilly! Darn mother nature! It was like 40*. IN MAY. Not ok. Not ok at all. Anyway- the race was a blast.

I won't do a full recap, as I've done one before (see it here) and it was essentially the same race, just several miles shorter. I love this race and would highly suggest it to anyone! Only bummer with the 10K is you don't get a medal. BUMMER! I did get a pin, though, so I guess that's something.

Anyway- after the race we headed back to shower and such and then headed out for a quick lunch before the Hubs and I drove home (aka: the Hubs drove while I napped in the passenger seat). We had to rush back because we had tickets to see Wicked that night!

The show was amazing! Such great music and an amazing set and cast. LOVED it!

The show, while great, was a bit long. It didn't get out til past 11, which is WAAAAAY past my bedtime. I was exhausted from the race and the late night. So, I immediately crashed after we got home. 11pm and I am SPENT. I know, I'm so lame.

Sunday we were up early again to take Sadie for a quick walk before heading to Chicago (about 2 hours away) for a Mother's Day celebration. Great way to end the weekend: family, fun, and food! I ate my weight in delicious foods and the napped again in the car on the way back. Poor Hubs! Always stuck driving. He's OK with it... he'd rather me be asleep so he can listen to sports radio than me be awake and force him to listen to Katy Perry and flip the radio stations every 2 minutes. (Not that I would EVER do that)

Phew! I'm exhausted again just recapping everything. Hope you had a great weekend too!

(Mostly) Wordless Weekend Recap

I'm still suffering from too-much-turkey brain, so you'll have to settle for this (mostly) wordless weekend recap...

Tuesday:

Too much baking!! 3+ hours straight. Made 2 pumpkin pies, 3 different types of cookies, and puppy chow. SO GOOD.

Wednesday:
Nothing too exciting. Worked 8-5pm and then hit the road to Indy for Thanksgiving w/ the Hubs side. Got these 2 books from the library on the way.

Thursday:

Started the day off with a solo 3.1 mile run, then went with the Hubs and my FIL to the Bolt for the Heart 3.33 mile run. The Hubs ran the WHOLE thing!! So proud of him!! After the runs, there was SOOOO much cooking and eating. ALL DAY LONG. Delicious food. And wine. And beer. SO good. I didn't take a single pic. Too busy eating. And drinking. Duh.

Friday:

Slept in and then went "black Friday shopping" at about 7:30am. Does it count if you don't go at the butt crack of dawn? Either way-- lots of coffee was consumed and lots of Christmas shopping was done.

Saturday:

Started day off with coffee and left over cookies with a side of SNOW!

Headed to gym for Spinning and some quality elliptical (aka: Gossip Girl on the iPad) time.

After the gym, the Hubs and I went to the cheap theater to see Looper followed by some more Christmas shopping and errands. Then, we stopped for Mexican for dinner using a Groupon that was about to expire. Win, win. For the record-- the movie was good. See it.

Sunday:
Day started with a half marathon. Boom.

Followed by an excruciating ice bath. HATE them. Love them. But, hate them more.

Followed by an EXTREMELY lazy Sunday... HOURS of Gilmore Girls on DVD, followed by a super, super easy dinner via the crock pot (Just throw a couple chicken breasts, a can of black beans, a can of fire roasted tomatoes, and a couple diced jalapenos in and let them cook on low for 6 hours. Shred chicken. Let cook for about 30-60 more minutes. Serve over rice or in a tortilla or over chips or whatever.). Lazy, lazy GREAT day. To be fair-- Sunday we also put the Christmas tree up. So, it wasn't THAT lazy of a day... right? 30 minutes spent putting ornaments on a tree TOTALLY negates five straight hours of Loralei and Rory. Right?!?!?

Random Randomness

My brain is all over the place right now, so it seems fitting to share some incredible random thoughts...

Glee.
I'm watching Season 3 on Netflix right now. I've never been a HUGE fan... but, I enjoy it overall. Well, most of it. Ready for the crazy in me to come out? I legit fast forward through the musical numbers. Of GLEE. A song ALL about musical numbers. Yup. I watch the SHOW part and skip the music parts. It is helping me SPEED through this season in record breaking time, though.

Oh, and even WEIRDER... I actually DO like the Glee music and frequently listen to the Glee Pandora station and every have downloaded several songs from iTunes. I just get bored through those parts of the show. FREAK. I know.

Continuing to talk about Glee... where do these kids get all these f-ing slushies?
Did your high school sell slushies? Seems like a terrible idea to me. Who wouldn't see the danger in that? It'd be like decorating a college dorm with pumpkins in the fall. College kids just LOVE to throw and break pumpkins. LOVE. Anyway, my high school most definitely didn't sell slushies. Am I alone?

Ok... moving on from Glee...

I'm SO over the elliptical. I mean... it has legit become a hate-hate relationship. Nothing good comes from it. Boredom doesn't begin to describe. How can I run for HOURS and not get bored, but STRUGGLE through even just 45 minutes on the elliptical, even with magazines to occupy me??

Totally random? I realized this week I get the song "Never Smile at a Crocodile" from Peter Pan (the Disney version-- duh) stuck in my head at LEAST twice a week. I sing it to myself FREQUENTLY... like, several times a week. WTF is wrong with me?

I went to Signature Strength today and OMG... we have a new instructor for Thursday mornings. First of all, he's a man. Clearly, that shouldn't mean much. But, I realized today I've never gone to a group fitness class with a male instructor before. Ever. Dude KICKED MY ASS. I mean... he was intense. Pushed the whole class. Hard. My arms are still weak and shaky. And-- I LOOOOOVED it. Now, I KNOW a female instructor can (and has and will in the future, I'm sure) lead just as effective of a class. For sure. So, regardless of gender... I'm just so, SO glad we have a new, amazing instructor for Signature Strength. I'll definitely be going every Thursday morning now.

Ok... done rambling. Happy Thursday.

Nothing lasts forever not even your troubles

I know I'm still a cruise recap short... it's coming. And by that I mean I haven't even started it, but I will soon. Really.

Anyway, I'm back from said cruise. Coming back from vacation is ROUGH. I swear I feel like I need a vacation to recover from my vacation. Luckily, the Hubs and I actually got up pretty early (8am, 6:30am, 7am, 7am, 7:30am) each morning of the cruise AND went to the gym 4 of the 5 mornings, so getting back into the swing of things could have been WAY worse. Oh! AND, we lucked out and got our fall-back extra hour of sleep the night we got back! SCORE.

So, back to the routine it is.

Monday I was up at 5am for the 5:30am spinning class. Meh. It was OK. I was still pretty dizzy from the cruise. Weird, right? The waters were pretty rough, so I just felt MEH and off and dizzy for like 2 days post-cruise. Bleah.

Tuesday morning was ROUGH.

Like, 25* rough. BLEAH. Too cold! I had frost on my car. I didn't have to scrape, but it just reminded me it's just a few short moments (days? weeks? tbd.) away. Booooo. Anwyay, I did manage to get up and make it to the 5:30am Signature Strength class in the morning and 60 minutes of elliptical (while watching Glee! Thank you, Netflix Instant!!) in the afternoon.

When I was leaving the gym the store next to the gym had this on their bulletin board...
"Nothing lasts forever not even your troubles"

Hit me kinda powerfully. Yes, this knee thing freaking blows right now. But, it's not permanent. I control everything else about my life and so what I can't control the knee 100%? It won't last forever and in the meantime there's a bazillion other things I can be doing. I'm lucky enough to be able to move and walk and go to work everyday and live and breathe. This knee thing is a hiccup. It'll pass.

(Remind me of this when it's still acting up in a week, ok??)

After seeing that in the morning, I was determined to do everything in my power to help speed this not lasting forever thing along. So, I talked to and met with an athletic trainer on Tuesday, but I'm not quite ready to share those yet... so, just know that I talked to a professional and that I'm following an athletic trainers "plan" of recovery and doing nightly leg exercises, stretches, icing, foam rolling (and a few other exciting things!) and keeping my fingers crossed. More on details in a week or so after I give it some time to see if anything comes from it.

Anyway... Wednesday was another 60-minute spinning class. Same old, same old.

I'm thinking about mixing things up next week and trying a few after-work classes that are kinda insanity/cross-fit like. Those classes fly by and are always lots of fun. It'd definitely be a mix up and I think I need that... I'm falling into a bit of a workout rut.

What else has been going on... well, work's been super busy... coming back from a full week out of the office to over 200 emails isn't a pretty sight. Wah, wah. Boo me. Actually, I love being busy, so I'm really not complaining. Oh! And, the Hubs and I just started watching Season 1 of Breaking Bad. Have I mentioned that I love Netflix Instant? I do. A lot. Anyway, it's kinda slow moving right now for me (we're only 2 episodes in) but I think it'll pick up. Not that we'll be watching much seeing as how college basketball starts this weekend!!!! SO exciting! Best time of the year!! GO ILLINI!!! The Hubs is a HUGE, HUUUUGE Purdue fan so we legit watch every Purdue basketball game on TV. It's how I convinced him to get cable. BigTen Network was/is a necessity.

Anyway... so, that's what I've been up to. Nothing hugely exciting. What can I say... I'm pretty boring. :)
